Good to group kanji of similar readings together ... makes it easier to learn.
Also, progression of class (i.e., firstly learning radicals before moving on to more difficult kanji) is very helpful. (Kanji)

集中日本語コース / Intensive Japanese Course

If a foreign student were to join the same laboratory as a junior, I will advise him/her to enroll in the Nihongo Center intensive course starting from the first semester instead of waiting and trying to learn Japanese naturally without enrolling in class. (Elementary)

I take a general course for Level 2 and an intensive course for Level 3, and I think it's the right decision. I think it's important to start slowly but consistently to have a strong foundation before you continue further to the more complicated level. I will recommend this method if a new international student joins the same laboratory.

I learned and mastered the basic aspects that I can use in my daily life in Japan. The classes and the learning materials were so insightful and helpful for a beginner and can be applied when you meet someone who has no knowledge of English but you need to communicate with him/her by any means.

Very interesting and good introduction to kanji. It is very useful for my daily life in Japan since things like days of the week, time, street signs, subway maps etc. were used as examples.

中国語話者のための「読める！日本語の漢字」（中級後期）/ Japanese Kanji for Students with Chinese language background (Upper Intermediate)

中国出身だから、漢字を直接に見ると意味はわかります。でも読んだり聞いたりするときは、ぜんぜんわかりませんでした。それで、このクラスはよく役にたちました。

The course grants me the capability to notice the nuances of "psychological social distance" in the Japanese culture and lets me understand more about the actual meanings of routine greetings.
