Dialogue at UTokyo GlobE #7(Talk event with Dame Louise Richardson (Former Vice-Chancellor of Oxford) , Prof. Teruo Fujii(President)and Prof. Kaori Hayashi (Executive Vice President of UTokyo))was held

On Friday, April 12 at 16:30, as Dialogue at UTokyo GlobE #7,「Talk event with Dame Louise Richardson (Former Vice-Chancellor of Oxford) , Prof. Teruo Fujii(President)and Prof. Kaori Hayashi (Executive Vice President of UTokyo)」was held.
In the dialogue, while addressing issues related to diversity and the male-female ratio at the University of Tokyo, they discussed the role of universities in response to the changing times.
Ms. Richardson provided background on her choice of terrorism as her field of study and advice on how students can explore research topics of interest to them. She also expressed her expectations for the international involvement of the younger generation, including female students.
Following the conversation with Prof. Teruo Fujii(President)and Prof. Kaori Hayashi (Executive Vice President of UTokyo), a Q&A session with approximately 60students from the university ensued. During the Q&A session, a wide range of questions were asked, ranging from student career paths to global affairs. Ms. Richardson enthusiastically responded to these questions.
