2024.08.08
On Monday, April 24th, 2024, the '1-to-1 Cultural Exchange Program Lunch Party' was held at Kashiwa Campus.

The 1-to-1 Cultural Exchange Program is one of the exchange programs run year-round by the Center for Global Education (Kashiwa Branch). It connects international students, foreign researchers, faculty members, their families, and Japanese volunteers on a one-to-one basis at Kashiwa Campus. The program aims to improve Japanese language skills and provide knowledge about Japanese culture and history.

On the day of the event, a total of 42 participants, including program’s registered members from within the university, volunteers from outside the university, and new applicants, enjoyed mingling over light refreshments in a seated format. During the first half of the event, participants chatted freely with those seated near them. In the latter half, simple games were conducted to further deepen the interactions among the participants. The vegan sushi provided at the venue sparked conversations, creating opportunities to discuss dietary restrictions and lifestyle habits. There were also happy reports of people finding exchange partners and exchanging contact information with those they connected with.
