The University of Tokyo -Asian University for Women MoU Signing Ceremony was held!

On Saturday, March 3, the MoU signing ceremony between the University of Tokyo and the Asian University for Women (AUW) was held at AUW's campus in Chittagong, Bangladesh. UTokyo and AUW have been holding joint summer/winter programs since 2021, with the support of the Fast Retailing Foundation. Although the program began with online during the COVID-19 pandemic, UTokyo finally hosted ten students from AUW for around two weeks last summer, and fifteen students from UTokyo were sent to AUW for around ten days this winter. Building upon these collaboration, MoU for student exchange was signed between the two universities. The signing ceremony was attended by Kaori Hayashi, Executive Vice President, and Yujin Yaguchi, Vice President, along with UTokyo and AUW students and guests including AUW’s executive body. The total number of guests was approximately 200, and the ceremony was conducted as part of the joint program.
