Dialogue at UTokyo GlobE #6(Talk event with Mr. Ben Nelson (Founder of Minerva) and President Teruo Fujii)was held

On Friday, February 16 at 13:30, as Dialogue at UTokyo GlobE #6, ”Talk event with Mr. Ben Nelson (Founder of Minerva) and President Teruo Fujii” was held.During the lecture titled " Start-ups and higher education", Mr. Nelson shared his inspiration and journey towards realizing Minerva University’s mission, starting from his own experience as a university student and through various career paths, including start-ups.
Following the lecture, a dialogue with President Fujii was held, followed by a Q&A session with approximately 60 students from UTokyo. In the Q&A session, students asked questions such as “Should we choose a career in start-ups right after graduation?” and “How can we achieve our aspirations by involving large organizations?” Mr. Nelson passionately answered these questions. The event concluded with a message from Executive Vice President Kaori Hayashi, expressing her determination for educational reform and conveying a message to UTokyo students.
