USTEP (University-wide Student Exchange Program) welcome ceremony and orientation 2023 Autumn
On September 20th, University-wide Student Exchange Program（USTEP ) welcome ceremony and orientation, later on, the welcome party were held at the Yasuda Auditorium.
For the USTEP Type U (exchange program for undergraduate students) starting in September 2023, 148 outstanding students from partner universities around the world are enrolled as exchange students at the University of Tokyo, taking classes at both the Hongo and Komaba campuses.
In addition, as a new initiative starting this semester, we have recruited regular students from the University of Tokyo to become partners of USTEP students, and the students have begun activities as "USTEP Partners." USTEP Partners plans to carry out a variety of activities in the future, including supporting USTEP students to adjust to student life at our university, and planning and implementing exchange events to help them have a more fulfilling study abroad experience. They have started the activities by participating in the welcome ceremony, orientation, and welcome party.
