Announcement: GlobE Special Enrollment Program 2026

The Center for Global Education (GlobE) at the University of Tokyo will implement the following special enrollment program for individuals who are facing difficulties continuing their studies at U.S. universities due to rapid policy changes, such as the U.S. government’s announcement in May 2025 regarding the suspension of eligibility for admitting international students.

Special Enrollment Program
Students will be accepted as Special Auditors (Undergraduate or Graduate) upon completion of an admissions screening (non-degree-seeking status).
・　Enrollment Period: April 2026 or October 2026
・　Period of Study: Up to one year (two semesters)
・　Affiliation: Center for Global Education, The University of Tokyo
・　Tuition Fee: JPY 14,800 per credit
　　(Call for applications for the subsequent academic years is currently undecided.)
