Exchange Event Held with Rutgers University Students

On Tuesday, July 8, the University of Tokyo hosted an exchange event bringing together 14 UTokyo undergraduate students and 15 students from Rutgers University, USA.

The students divided into small groups for lunch discussions, fostering cross-cultural connections through informal conversation. Following lunch, participants attended a lecture titled “War Memories and Museums in Japan” by Professor Yujin Yaguchi, Director of UTokyo’s Center for Global Education.

The lively discussions throughout the event offered students from both universities valuable insights into different cultural perspectives, creating a rich environment for open dialogue and mutual learning.
