New International Students Gather at GlobE ISSR Chinese Conversation Club

New international students gathered at the Chinese Conversation Club hosted by ISSR (International Student Support Room) at Student Plaza, Center for Global Education (GlobE), Hongo Campus on Thursday, April 24, 2025.

A total of 28 international and local students participated in the cultural exchange, communicating in Chinese, Japanese, and English. Divided into 6 groups, students shared interests and hobbies with their peers. Each group then chose its group name and presented it in Chinese and Japanese. The warm, friendly event concluded with a group photo shoot.

Chinese Conversation Club is organized by GlobE ISSR as an opportunity for UTokyo students to interact with each other in Chinese, Japanese, and other languages. The gathering is held twice a month during lunchtime at Student Plaza.
