UTokyo Amgen Scholars Program 2024 - Mid-term Presentation & Excursion

On July 5th and 6th, UTokyo Amgen Scholars Program 2024's mid-term presentation and excursion took place in Hakone.

After one month since the scholars were assigned to their respective research labs, they presented their achievements so far and outlined their research plans for the remaining month.

It was an opportunity for students to learn about each other's research topics and stimulate each other through questions and discussions. Additionally, they engaged in activities such as making kamaboko and chikuwa, taking a sightseeing boat on Lake Ashi, and experiencing traditional woodwork.

This allowed them to deepen their interactions with the three graduate student mentors who accompanied them.
