Jelena Aleksejeva

Ph.D. in Sustainability Science, The University of Tokyo

I was born in Latvia and moved to Japan for my graduate studies. During my academic career, I have been engaged in transdisciplinary research involving urban sustainability, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and spatial analysis. In my research I focus on how data-driven approaches can help create more sustainable, resilient, and livable cities.
