Biography
I was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. As an undergraduate student, I studied girls' education in Japan during the Meiji era from the perspective of Gender History Studies. From graduate school, I began researching girls' education in India from the perspective of Comparative Education. I found it interesting to study the humanities and social sciences, Japan and India, the past and present, crossing various borders.
Currently, I am working on "Global Network Project to Promote Study in Japan(Southwest Asia Regional Office)" appointed by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), with the aim of attracting excellent students in the Southwest Asia region.(https://www.u-tokyo.ac.jp/adm/swasia/ja/about/index.html)
