Biography
John's research aims to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of biochemical phenomena related to food science and plant-plant interactions. He is also involved in research on pedagogy to develop tools for assessing the approaches to learning of students in STEM-related courses.
Message to Students
As a food and postharvest scientist, my work spans food safety, biochemical research, and science communication. From my studies, I’ve explored how environmental factors impact food safety and public health.
In my courses, I emphasize a holistic, transdisciplinary approach to food safety, equipping students with the skills to analyze, communicate, and apply scientific knowledge effectively. I look forward to guiding you on this journey of discovery and critical thinking!
