Candler Hallman received his PhD from the University of California, San Diego (Anthropology). He has conducted research with transnational veteran and victim activists in Ireland and the United Kingdom. He joined The University of Tokyo in 2015 and currently teaches courses in the ALESS/A Program and Human Rights for the Global Liberal Arts program.
