Biography
My research focuses on contemporary picturebooks within the field of sociolinguistics. Using translation (and translator) theory as a methodological framework, I examine historical, social, and cultural aspects.
Message to Students
I believe that learning and knowing additional languages leads to a deeper understanding of one's first language. I also think it engenders the kindness to empathize with others and nurtures creativity.
