Biography

I am interested in the biological basis of behavior and also how intracellular molecular regulators influence brain systems, particularly those that communicate with the body. In Japan, I’ve worked at RIKEN Brain Science Institute (now Center for Brain Science), University of Tokyo previously, and then Tokyo Metropolitan University. My motivation to teach is to promote multidisciplinary communication that supports information literacy, confidence, and thoughtful globally-significant research.
