Biography

I was born and raised in Aichi, Japan. As an undergraduate student, I majored in African area studies, where I developed an interest in Rwanda. Since my master’s studies, I have been researching social studies education in Rwanda, with a focus on the role of education in peacebuilding. During my master’s program, I studied at a university in Rwanda and learned alongside students from East Africa.
I also have professional experience in the private sector, where I worked on development education projects at a consulting firm.
In 2026, I joined the Center for Global Education as a Project Research Associate in the International Support Division.
